The December general meeting was held on January 13, 2026.  The meeting was uneventful and straightforward.  All motions were passed unanimously.

This was Ingram's first regular meeting.  Patton was not present.

Agenda Item 9.01: Effective Governance

We recapped our governance work for the past few months: we've conducted 10 community listening sessions since November.  At those, we've gotten good feedback, but we're basically hearing the same answers each time now, so we're going to be wrapping up soon.

If you'd like to provide your own feedback on what students should know and be able to do, please do so!

Agenda Item 9.02: District A Vacancy

Remember, Troncoso resigned last month, so District A will be up for appointment.  We'll be selecting a candidate next month.

Agenda Item 9.03: Legislative Summit Updates

Moriak and Lou attended Spotlight Delaware's legislative summit.

I made a motion to reimburse Moriak for her travel (apparently Lou was not charged).  Motion carried unanimously (with Moriak abstaining).

Agenda Item 9.04: DSBA Update

Moriak attended the DSBA meeting.  Due to our schedules, we can't currently assign a specific board member to be our liaison there; we'll attend as available.
